In the video, Park's parents are seated at a dining table full of colourful and appetising spread of Indian dishes. The feast begins with our favourite summer drink: mango lassi.
His father takes a sip and immediately says, "Mango always tastes amazing." His mother, after taking a sip, comments, "It's so thick and delicious."
Next, they try pani puri. Park's mother, savouring the flavours, says, "Yum! Delicious!" Then comes the chana chaat. Park's mother compares its taste to tonkatsu sauce, a familiar flavour from Korean cuisine.
When they move on to garlic naan, Park's father compares it to a pizza. Soon, his mother can be seen spreading butter chicken gravy on the naan. To this, the vlogger says, "Don't eat it like this. Instead, try to dip the naan in the sauce." After taking a bite, she replies, "Yum! So savoury!"
The gastronomic exploration continues with saag paneer or palak paneer. Park's mother, tasting it with naan, says, "It has such a unique taste!" "There's no spice that I don't like! This looks like rice mixed with marinated crab from Yeongdeok. It tastes similar to that too," she adds.
When they try biryani, Park's father asks, "Is it fried rice?" After his mother takes a bite, she comments, "It's delicious too!"
As their feast comes to an end, reflecting on the experience, Park's father says, "This feels like more than just trying Indian food. It is a wonderful experience that will be a great memory for me." His mother adds, "I don't want this to end as a memory. I want to experience this taste again!"
When asked which dish was her favourite, Park's mother doesn't hesitate to say butter chicken as she takes another bite. "I cleaned this plate. It was so good," she adds, showing an empty plate.
Now, it's not just us or you who are feeling very proud and hungry after watching that click. Most viewers in the comment section share this sentiment. One person wrote, "This is so cute. And the Dad with butter chicken sauce on his cheek lol. It shows he really enjoyed eating the meal. Dinner looked good."
Another viewer said, "Can I come next time?" while someone else commented, "I wanna treat my parents like this one day." A viewer expressed their happiness saying, "As an Indian, I'm so glad that they enjoyed the food!!" "I'm going to order some now. Looks too good," read another comment.
