The restaurant industry has undergone a huge transformation in the post-pandemic era. While some of our favourite eateries unfortunately shut shop, we also witnessed the opening of several new ones. People want to make every meal a lavish one, as dining out must be an experience. Fine dining restaurants, thus, are experiencing a growth like never before. One such new fine dining restaurant, however, has taken foodie globe-trotters by surprise. Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has recently venture into the food and beverage space. They inaugurated their first restaurant last week, sharing pictures of the brand-new space that opened in Saint Tropez, France.

Louis Vuitton made the announcement on Twitter on June 18, receiving much intrigue and appreciation from users. This is the first standalone eatery that the company has opened in the French town that has featured in multiple shows, including 'Emily in Paris'. The fashion house had earlier opened a café earlier in Osaka, as per a report by Vogue. "The new restaurant infuses Maison's codes with an open space reflective of the Mediterranean," wrote the brand on Twitter.
As for the cuisine at Louis Vuitton's new restaurant, it is said to be 'globe-trotting'. Michelin-star chef Mory Sacko is helming the kitchen, serving modern cuisine with Japanese and African influences with the culinary techniques of French gastronomy. The menu at Louis Vuitton's new restaurant can also be found online. Dishes like Eggplant Veggie Tacos, Chirashi, Fillet, Mediterranean spiny lobster, Shakshouka and Taiyaki could be spotted on their menu. Reservations for lunch and dinner can be made online from their official website.
