The frustration of waiting in long queue to place our order at a fast food outlet wanes as soon as we are greeted with a smile by the person behind the counter. It's amazing to see them scurrying to fulfill multiple orders and still managing to give our orders within minutes. But most of the people take the staff at fast food joints for granted, ignoring the hard work they put in. So, it's refreshing too see a Subway employee getting a lot of attention on the internet for putting in extra work into both her job and her education, at the same time.
Don't we often wonder how some young people juggle between their job and studies? How do they even have time and energy to study after a long, tiring day? This latest tweet shows us how they manage. They make every minute count. IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra (@ipskabra) shared pictures of a Subway India employee working at a Raipur outlet. The pictures show how the employee squeezes in her studies in between attending the customers. While standing attentive at the counter with no customers in sight, she takes out her book and starts studying.

In the caption, Kabra wrote in Hindi, "Meet Kareena. She works at @AmbujaMall, in @SubwayIndia located in Raipur. In between the coming and going of customers, she manages to study in the little free time she gets. Those who make excuses of "not getting time", learn that even a few spare minutes can also be used like this."

The tweet has gone viral with around 115K views. Many people appreciated the efforts of the employee. One comment read, "Very nice sir, today's generation is extremely talented and ready to go the extra mile for becoming an Independent human being!"
But some users also showed concern for the young generation having to struggle to this extent. One user said, "This is sad and not at all inspiring. Why should anyone have to undergo such hardships to become a part of the capitalist system which created the suffering in the first place?" Check out some more reactions:
Its true that if you have a will you have a way! One elderly gentleman told me long back that whilst traveling daily to and fro work place in bus, he finished reading many books!— RAJEEV KUMAR MEHTA (@RAJEEVK57543323) March 2, 2023
I have been working since the age of 13. This is how I would do my homework/studies between customers. A lot of my friends grew up like this in early 90s in Punjab. Not too sure why it is out of the normal these days.— ASPR (@HitRunDFI) March 2, 2023
