Sweet delicacies always hit a spot for us. From tarts to doughnuts, croissants to muffins - the list is exhaustive. But our latest obsession is the humble Swiss Roll. This soft and spongy treat makes for a sinful indulgence. What's better than digging into a fluffy sponge cake rolled up with a filling of jam, cream or chocolate and dusted with icing sugar or coconut shavings? We don't know about you, but Tahira Kashyap shares a similar love for this sweet treat. How do we know? Her Instagram Stories have done all the talking. The writer-director indulged in a “fresh swiss roll” while at home in Chandigarh and made it a point to share a glimpse of her sugary treat. “Fresh swiss roll anyone,” she wrote in the caption along with two hashtags #golocal #polka. On Christmas, Tahira Kashyap extended heartfelt wishes to her fans, friends, and family. The author decided to pair it up with a super cute photo of herself, wherein she was relishing a yummy-looking hotdog and sipping on some hot chocolate. P.S.: Don't miss her Christmas-sy outfit. “Rudolf the always hungry reindeer wishes you Merry Christmas! My shiny nose is giving the OG tough competition. Also today my mother literally withheld my 3rd parantha for breakfast saying ‘puttarji Santa nu miss nai Karaange iss baar' (we won't miss Santa this time). To a bagful year of laughter and full bellies,” she wrote in the caption. Take a look:
Even when on vacation, Tahira Kashyap never fails to share updates from the food album. During her getaway in Himachal Pradesh's Kasauli, she posted a glimpse of a proper sitting arrangement that included a mat, carrom board, badminton and basically, everything that one would need to spend a day with nature. After this, she shared a series of pictures featuring roasted corn, maggie, pakora, and momos. Alongside the snaps, she asked, “Hill station main Maggi or pakodas or momos?” Check out the full story here.
