Living alone has its perks but it also comes with challenges that just cannot be ignored. One among them is food-related struggles. Often while juggling hectic schedules, it is easy to overlook the basics, like the leftovers in the fridge slowly going bad. Have you faced something similar? If yes, then this video is for you. Recently, a food blogger staying away from her family revealed how she utilises the remaining portion of the milk without wasting it. The hack is: Preparing homemade paneer. Sharing her ordeal in the clip, the woman said, "I live alone and one of the most annoying things about that is I can never finish a bottle of milk before it goes bad. Like I just got back from a work trip and I have one day to finish the rest of the bottle."
Next, she showed the easy-peasy paneer recipe. First, the milk was poured into a pot and brought to boiling point. A half-cut lemon was squeezed into it and stirred properly until the milk started to curdle. After it separated, the water was strained. Voila, home-cooked paneer is ready. For a flavourful and spicy zing, the woman added chopped jalapenos, salt, pepper and chaat masala. In the caption, the blogger said, "You can easily freeze the paneer once you make it and use it later too!." She also shared some insights on how to turn the spicy jalapeno paneer into paneer bhurji. Woah, we are impressed!
The reel has received a lot of interest online. Read some of the reactions below:
