Virat Kohli's love for all things delicious isn't a secret anymore. Although he is a fitness fanatic and maintains a stringent workout regime, the flamboyant cricketer does take out time to enjoy some drool-worthy dishes, especially North Indian delicacies. There have been instances where we got a chance to see Virat Kohli's love for chole bhature. Previously, during the Day 2 of the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a video of Virat Kohli having an intense discussion with team coach Rahul Dravid created a lot of buzz. Reason? Food, of course. We can see a man walking up to Kohli's table with food packets in his hand. The reaction on Kohli's face says it all. As the match was played in Delhi, fans thought that Kohli had chole bhature. The answer is no.
Referring to the video, Rahul Dravid confirmed that the food item that brought happiness to Kohli's face was kulcha chole and not, chole bhature. Not just this, Rahul Dravid also narrated an interesting story with it. He mentioned that Kohli was also tempting him to have the kulcha chole but he refused. Rahul stated, “I'm 50 years old, I can't handle so much cholesterol anymore,” with a laugh.
Once, Anushka Sharma also shared her experience about Delhi-style chole bhature in Mumbai for Virat Kohli. After all, that's Kohli's favourite cheat meal, right? Anushka did find a place that serves exactly Delhi-style chole. She thanked comedian Abhishek Upmanyu for helping her in finding the food joint.
