Ordering groceries and food online has made our life much easier. We now place orders for our necessities through apps and receive them instantly in a matter of minutes. Convenience is a priority for customers as they seek to order instant meals and cut fruits to make meal prep quicker and more convenient. While the debate is still on about the health quotient of cut fruits, a YouTuber recently shared his experience of ordering shelled pomegranate online. He said that the fruit was quite bad in taste and reminded him of nail polish. Take a look at his post here.

The picture of the shelled pomegranate was shared on Instagram by user Samdish Bhatia. In a span of 24 hours, it has received over 5.5k likes and hundreds of comments. In the post, Bhatia narrated his ordeal with the packet of shelled pomegranate he ordered online through the grocery app Swiggy Instamart. "I don't say it lightly. As soon as I took a spoonful and put it in my mouth, I could smell and taste something familiar. It was... wait for it... N..a..il polish," he wrote in his post.
He further went on to narrate his thoughts about how he felt that the company had added nail polish to the box of pomegranate to make it look redder. Meanwhile, the company Urban Harvest spoke to Hindustan Times and said, "We don't tamper with the truly pleasurable and natural scent in all our products including pomegranate. And take great care to maintain its quality." They further added that they reached out to Bhatia to address the complaint but did not receive any response from him. "We have made several attempts to reach out to customer Mr. Samsheed Bhatia, directly address their concerns and find solutions. Unfortunately, we have not received any response from them since the complaint was posted," they told HT.
