Ingredients of Adrak ka Achaar (Ginger Pickle)
- 1/2 Kg raw ginger (kachi adrak), julienne
- 13-15 Lemons (juiced)
- 2-3 tsp vinegar
- 3-4 tsp salt or to taste
How to Make Adrak ka Achaar (Ginger Pickle)
- 1.Peel and julienne ginger.
- 2.In a jar add ginger, salt, vinegar and lemon juice. Shake the jar vigorously.
- 3.Let the achaar rest for an hour.
- 4.When the ginger is a little pink, it means the pickle is ready to eat.
- 5.It is perfect to consume this achaar during the festival of Navratras.
