Ingredients of Aloo Chokha (Bengali-Style Aloo Bharta)

  • 2 Potatoes, deskinned and cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Whole red chillies
  • 1 tsp Kalonji
  • 1 tsp Mustard Oil
  • Salt, as per taste

How to Make Aloo Chokha (Bengali-Style Aloo Bharta)

Heat oil in a pan and add kalonji and red chillies to it, let it splutter.

Add the chopped onions and fry until they turn light brown.
3.
Mash the boiled potatoes and add to the kadhai and mix until it turns greasy. Adjust salt as per taste.
