This innovative chaat consists of aloo cups stuffed with boiled chickpeas along with tangy and flavourful chutneys.

Ingredients of Aloo Handi Chaat

  • 150 gms Black chickpeas
  • 500 gram Boiled potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind chutney
  • 1 tbsp Mint chutney
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp Chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Sev/bhujjia
  • To garnish Coriander Leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Red Chilli
  • 1 tsp Dry mango powder

How to Make Aloo Handi Chaat

  • 1.Take a large container, add chickpeas along with all the spices and mix well.
  • 2.Take potatoes and scoop out from in between to make a cup-like shape.
  • 3.Sprinkle some roasted cumin powder and chaat masala. Now fill it up with spiced chick pea and put a little amount of tamarind chutney followed by mint chutney and curd.
  • 4.Sprinkle chopped onion, tomatoes, sev and coriander leaves.
  • 5.Follow the same process for all the potatoes and enjoy eating this tangy aloo handi chaat!
