About Barley Daliya Recipe: A wholesome meal wih the goodness of barle, this daliya is a savoury mix of mustard seeds, cumin, garlic, curry leaves and chickpeas cooked with vegetable stock and barley. You can prepare his at home for a light meal.
Ingredients of Barley Daliya
120 gms overnight soaked barley
10-20 gms garlic
10 ml extra virgin olive oil
10 gms pepper crush
10 gms salt
10 gms curry leaves
10 gms cumin seeds
5 gram mustard seeds
200 ml vegetable stock
How to Make Barley Daliya
1.Soak barley overnight, crush it to crumbly texture and keep aside.
2.In a pan heat olive oil, crackle mustard seeds, cumin, add roasted garlic cloves and scallion.
3.Now add curry leaves and crushed chickpeas and add the veg stock. Cook till well done.
4.Adjust seasoning and serve with squeezed lemon juice.
