A simple and quick cauliflower recipe. Cauliflower/ gobhi dipped in rice flour batter and deep fried. Tossed with curry leaves, green chillies and curd.

Ingredients of Cauliflower Chilli Fry

  • 1 cup diced cauliflower/ gobhi
  • 3 tsp curd
  • 2 green chillies
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • For the Batter to Coat Gobhi/ Cauliflower:
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • Red chilli powder, to season
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • Oil to deep fry

How to Make Cauliflower Chilli Fry

  • 1.Mix all ingredients to make a thick batter or paste.
  • 2.To this add the cauliflower and deep fry. Keep aside.
  • 3.Heat oil in a pan and lightly saute the curry leaves.
  • 4.Add green chillies and curd.
  • 5.Finally add the cauliflower/ gobhi. Mix well.
  • 6.Serve cauliflower chilli fry pipping hot.
