The soft and spongy delight, dhoklas are always a hit when it comes to Gujarati snacks. Now is the time we try something up a notch and that is this Indo-Chinese dhokla recipe popularly known as chilli cheese dhokla.

Ingredients of Chilli Cheese Dhokla
- 1 Cup Sooji
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1 tsp Eno fruit salt
- 1 cup Grated cheese
- 1 tbsp Chopped green chili
- 1/2 cup Water
- For tadka :
- 1 and a half tbsp Mustard oil
- 4 Dried red chillies
- 1/2 tsp Black mustard seeds
- 1/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 6-8 Curry leaves
How to Make Chilli Cheese Dhokla

Take a container, add salt, sugar, semolina followed by oil and yogurt. Mix it extremely well.

Add water and mix it again.

Now add more water along with eno and mix quickly to avoid lumps.

Then take a baking pan, pour half of the batter onto the pan and then add chopped green chillies and grated cheese.

Add the second half of the batter and cover.

Bake it in the oven or pressure cooker or in whichever way you prefer.
For tadka
1.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dried red chillies, curry leaves and let them splutter.

Once done, pour it over the dhoklas.

Serve and enjoy your Indo-chinese fusion recipe!
