Ingredients of Chinese Idli

  • 6 Pieces Idlis (cut in quarters)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp Finely chopped Garlic
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp Finely chopped Ginger
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 cup Chopped bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Red chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder

How to Make Chinese Idli

Sauté onions in a saucepan.

Add ginger, garlic, green chilli, bell pepper and stir.
3.
Season with tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar, red chilli powder and mix well.
4.
Add the idlis to the sauce and stir till the idlis are bathed in the sauce.
5.
Serve it piping hot!
