How to make Diana Wati
Cashew nut dough balls are stuffed with dry fruits and gulkand and shaped into a wati shape. Topped with silver warak and saffron infused almonds - these sweet delights are sure to leave you drooling!

Ingredients of Diana Wati
- 1/2 kg Cashew Nuts
- 400 gm Sugar
- 200 gm Chopped Almonds
- 200 gm Chopped Pista
- 100 gm Gulkand
- 1 gm Saffron
- 50 gm Sliced Almonds
- Silver Warak
How to Make Diana Wati

Soak 1/2 kg cashew nuts in water. Strain the water and make a paste. Add 400 grams of sugar. Let it rest for 10 mins. Then put the mixture in a pan on slow flame for 45 mins. Make a dough after it cools down.

For the filling, mix all the chopped nuts, gulkand and saffron. Keep it aside.

Put saffron in a small bowl of hot water. Add sliced almonds and keep it for 25 mins. (This is done so that the almonds turn orange in colour.)

Now, take cashew nuts, make small balls and give it a wati shape. Put silver warak on the wati. Add the filling in the wati and place 3 sliced orange almonds. Diana wati is ready to serve.
