Ingredients of Idli Pasta
- 12 Idlis
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup capsicum, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp oil
- A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
- 1 tsp rye
- 1 tsp zeera
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 green chillies, chopped
- 1 red chillies, chopped
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp pasta sauce
- Handful of coriander
How to Make Idli Pasta
- 1.Cut the idlis into small pieces.
- 2.Now take oil in a deep wok, add hing, rye, zeera and all the chopped vegetables to it. Saute well.
- 3.Now add chopped onion, tomatoes and capsicum along with salt and red chilli powder. Fry them well.
- 4.Add chopped green chillies, red chillies, vinegar, pasta sauce and soy sauce to it. Mix well.
- 5.Now add the idlis to this mix and saute it together. The idlis should be laced well with the masala.
- 6.Garnish with chopped coriander before serving.
Recipe Notes
Tomato ketchup can also be added for a sweeter flavour.
