Ingredients of Kesar Kheer

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 Ltr Full Cream Paneer
  • 30-40 Kesar Strands
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tsp Almonds (chopped)
  • 10 Raisins
  • 1 tsp Cashews (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Pistachios (chopped)

How to Make Kesar Kheer

Firstly, wash the rice and soak it for at least 1-2 hours. Once done, drain, and keep aside.

Now, take a large pan, add milk and boil over medium heat. Meanwhile, take a spoonful of milk from the pan, add in saffron strands, and mix. Keep the saffron mixture aside for further use.

Chop almonds and pistachios. Add them to the boiling milk. After that, add cardamom powder.

Then add soaked rice and milk powder. Give it a good stir. Add sugar and keep stirring for 5-6 minutes.

Transfer into bowls, top up with chopped dry fruits and enjoy!
