Pork cooked with shallots, fish sauce, coconut milk and lemon.

Ingredients of Lemon Pork

  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 20 shallots small
  • 175 gm pork
  • 2 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 225 ml coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon rind
  • 5 spring onions
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

How to Make Lemon Pork

  • 1.In a wok or deep frying pan, heat the oil and fry the shallots until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
  • 2.In the same hot oil, stir-fry the pork, adding the fish sauce.
  • 3.When the pork is just cooked through, add the reserved crispy shallots, stir, than add the coconut milk. Stir well.
  • 4.Then add the lemon juice, lemon rind and spring onions. Stir well.
  • 5.Turn out on a warmed serving dish and garnish the lemony pork with coriander leaves.
