Ingredients of Mantu Afghani Dumpling Chaat

  • For dough:
  • 3/4 cup Refined flour
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • For filling:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 gram Garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Carrot, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup French beans
  • 1/4 cup Spring onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Chilli paste
  • 1 gram Salt
  • 50 gram Chana dal
  • 10 gram Sour curd
  • 15 gram Sev
  • 2 Pickled green chilli

How to Make Mantu Afghani Dumpling Chaat

Take flour, salt and oil and mix it.

Add water in parts and knead to firm dough. Keep aside for thirty minutes.

For stuffing, heat oil in a pan add garlic and sauté.

Add onion and sauté, add all the chopped vegetables.

Sauté and stir, add soya sauce salt and pepper.
6.
After cook add spring onion and keep aside for cool.
7.
Make small balls of dough, roll each ball into a thin circle of about 2-3-inch diameter.

Stuffed the sheet with vegetable mixture and folding the pleats one by one.
9.
Heat water in a steamer put the momos in momos basket.
10.
Steam momos for 5-6 minutes.
11.
Take a plate, spread sour curd. Arrange steamed momos on plate.
12.
Put chilly paste on momos after that put chana dal and topped with sev.
13.
Garnish with two pickles green chilli and serve hot.
