Ingredients of Wasabi Matara Chaat

  • 2 Cup Boiled Matara
  • 1 onion , chopped
  • 2 tomato, chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • 1 tsp green chilli
  • 1 tbsp Nylon Sev
  • 1 cup Wasabi Yogurt
  • 2 Castor Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mint
  • 1 tbsp Corriander
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Green Chilli
  • Carrot Julliene
  • Beetroot Julliene
  • ginger Julliene
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seed
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • to taste Chaat masala
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Corriander seed

How to Make Wasabi Matara Chaat

For Chutney :

1.
Blend together coriander, mint, salt, ice cubes, ginger, lemon juice, salt.

Add a little cumin powder and chaat masala and keep aside

For Tamarind syrup

1.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin and coriander seed to it
2.
Add tamarind pulp and cook for a while
3.
Add jaggery according to the required sweetness
4.
Add Red Chilli Powder, chaat masala, cumin powder and fennel seed in it
5.
Cook until a syrup consistency is achieved

Assembly:

1.
Take Boiled chilled matara in a bowl
2.
Add jaggery syrup and Mint chutney on top of it
3.
Add wasabi yogurt (wasabi powder and sweet curd)
4.
Add chopped tomato, onion, coriander, chilli and masale on top of it
5.
Add rosted jeera and jullienes of ginger, carrot and beetroot and nylon sev for garnish Serve cold
