Ingredients of Potato Cheela

  • 1 Potato
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour
  • 1 tbsp Suji
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tbsp Onion
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1/4 tsp Jeera Powder
  • to taste Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • Oil (for frying)

How to Make Potato Cheela

First, peel and grate the potato. After keeping it in water for some time, filter and squeeze it.

Take grated potato in a bowl, add gram flour, semolina, cornflour, onion, green chili and all the spices. Mix it well.

Now, spread a little oil in a pan. Pour the prepared potato mixture on it and spread it in a circular motion. Put some oil on it and cook for two minutes with the lid on.
4.
Remove the lid and cook the cheela from the other side or until it becomes golden crispy brown.
5.
Serve with green chutney and enjoy!
