This sindhi dal is made by using three different dals and that are chana dal, urad dal and green chilka dal. It is then enhanced by a rich and flavourful tadka made by ghee, hing, garlic and cumin seeds.
Ingredients of Sindhi Tidli Dal
1/2 Cup Chaana dal
1/2 cup Green moong dal
1/4 cup Urad dal
2 small Tomatoes
2 small Green Chillies
1/2 tsp Thinly chopped ginger
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
5 Garlic cloves
1 tbsp Ghee
A pinch of heeng
1 tsp Turmeric powder
to taste Salt
to taste Chilli powder
How to Make Sindhi Tidli Dal
1.Take the chaana dal, moong chilka dal and urad dal and soak it in a bowl of water for two hours.
2.After two hours, pour the dal in a cooker and add salt according to taste, turmeric powder, tomatoes, green chilli and ginger.
3.Let this cook for three-four whistles.
4.Then pour the dal into a bowl.
5.Prepare the tadka by heating the oil and add cumin seeds, heeng, chopped garlic, chilli according to taste.
