About Singar Ji Mithai Recipe: A Sindhi preparation, singhar ji mithai is a popular sweet made of unsalted sev (singhar) mixed and cooked with thick sugar syrup, khoya and food colour. Perfect to prepare at home easily with simple ingredients on festive occasions.

Ingredients of Singhar Ji Mithai

  • 200 gms sev (unsalted)
  • 200 gms sugar
  • 150 gms khoya
  • 250 ml water
  • A pinch of yellow food colour
  • 1/4 cup almonds, sliced

How to Make Singhar Ji Mithai

  • 1.Boil sugar and water on medium flame till sugar melts and little thick.
  • 2.Add colour and mix well. Add sev and mix lightly.
  • 3.Now add grated khoya and mix well till mixture leave sides.
  • 4.Remove from the flame and spread it in a greased tray/thali.
  • 5.Garnish with chopped almonds and let it cool for sometime.
  • 6.Cut into pieces and serve.
