Ingredients of Spanish Fish Fry

  • Sole fish
  • 1 cup tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3-4 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make Spanish Fish Fry

  • 1.Dice onions and tomatoes into thin slices.
  • 2.Cut the sole fish into big pieces. Marinate it with salt and lemon juice for thirty minutes.
  • To Make the Curry:
  • 1.Heat some olive oil in a pan, add ginger paste and garlic paste and saute till the mixture turns brown.
  • 2.Add cinnamon, bay leaves, sliced onions and tomatoes. Add salt, green chillies and then water. Cover and simmer for sometime.
  • 3.Heat olive oil in a pan, add vinegar, salt and water.
  • 4.As it boils add the fish pieces.Take them out in a dish and pour curry over it. Serve hot.
