About Tandoori Murgh Recipe: Straight from the tandoor on to your plate, a must try for all meat lovers! Pieces of chicken marinated in a mix of tandoori masala, yogurt, ginger paste and grilled on a tandoor.
Ingredients of Tandoori Murgh
1 Kg chicken (broiler, cut into pieces)
1 1/2 tsp ginger paste
1 1/2 tsp garlic
2 tbsp tandoori masala paste
to taste Salt
1/2 cup hung yogurt
Few drops of red color
1 lemon (quartered)
1 onion , sliced
How to Make Tandoori Murgh
1.Pierce the chicken with a fork all over
2.Mix in the rest of the ingredients except lemon and onions.
3.Leave to marinate for 3-4 hours.
4.Now place a saucer like plate upright in a dish or a microwave rack
5.Arrange the chicken pieces in it placing the thicker pieces outwards.
6.Cover and cook on high heat for 5 minutes.
7.Rearrange the pieces and cook covered at 70% for 5 minutes.
8.Uncover and cook further on high for 5 minutes.
9.Let it stand for 2 minutes before serving.
10.Garnish with lemon quarters and onion rings
12.Note:Cooked without oil but you could brush it with some before the last turning.
