Ingredients of Yuzu Bee Flower

  • 60 ml Gin
  • 15 ml Yuzu Juice
  • 5 ml Simple Syrup
  • 10 ml Kokuto (Japanese brown sugar)
  • 20 ml Egg White
  • Flower for Garnish

How to Make Yuzu Bee Flower

Add ice cubes to the shaker, close the shaker and shake the contents for 10-20 seconds.

Open and pour into a glass (coupe or martini glass) with a strainer in between (the strainer removes fragments of ice that could have formed as a result of the shaking.)

Garnish with any edible flower.

Tips:

1.
If someone doesn’t eat egg they can remove it from the recipe or substitute with veg foam called Stillabunt or by shaking pineapple juice separately and adding it to the top of the cocktail.
2.
If you do not have kokuto, you can make an alternative by mixing 2 parts jaggery in 1 part water. This creates a jaggery syrup. Of this jaggery syrup, add 15ml to the shaker.
