Inspired by the South Indian cuisine, this chutney pairs extremely well with Idli, dosa, uttapam and vada. you can also serve them with pakodas.

Ingredients of Tomato Chutney

  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 10 Curry Leaves
  • 1 Garlic Cloves(Crushed)
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 5 Tomatoes
  • 5 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vinegar

How to Make Tomato Chutney

Take oil in pan, put mustard seeds, curry leaves, crushed garlic cloves and chopped ginger. Saute them together.

Add tomatoes and mix along to make a thick paste.

Add red chilli powder, black pepper, salt, sugar and vinegar.

Saute thoroughly and it is ready to serve.
