Ingredients of Veg-Bread Bhurji

  • 5-6 slices of bread
  • 1/2 Cup curd (dahi)
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Green chilis
  • 1 Tbsp Turmeric (haldi)
  • 1 Mustard Seeds
  • Salt as per taste
  • coriander leaves or curry leaves , finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup vegetables of choice (Capsicum, Carrots, Corns)

How to Make Veg-Bread Bhurji

Put curd in a bowl and add 2 spoons water. Add spices-turmeric, red chili, salt into it.

Chop bread slices into cubes and add it in the curd batter.
3.
Gently mix it and ensure the bread doesn’t break.
4.
In a hot pan, pour oil and put the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
5.
Once the mustard seeds crackle, add green chilis, onion, tomato, and chopped veggies.
6.
Saute till light brown and then add the bread mixture.
7.
Once the bread looks a little golden brown, turn of the flame.
8.
Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves and squeeze some lemon juice.
