But, now due to lockdown, we have to fetching everything we want from our own kitchen. Fried chicken lollipop is one of the best snacks that we love to order at a restaurant. The crunchy, crumbly skin enclosing juicy and soft chicken inside is something we all love. We can always make restaurant-like fried chicken at home, but it usually requires marination, which means we have to plan this meal in advance. However, for sudden craving that is not ready to subside and wait for those many hours, this recipe could really work.
Here is a fried chicken recipe that makes the same crispy chicken that we get in restaurants and can be made without leaving it to marinate for hours. This is a quick and easy recipe that you can make in less than 30 minutes!
You have to roast the chicken legs with spices in a pan for about 15 minutes. Coat it with a batter and bread crumbs and deep fry. This 3-step cooking process can be covered in minutes, including prep time! You have to make it to believe it.

Crispy Fried Chicken Legs Recipe:
4 chicken legs
1 small onion
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Half tbsp ginger garlic paste
Juice of half lemon
2 teaspoons oil for roasting
Oil for frying
11/2 -2cups bread crumbs
Half teaspoon red chilli powder
Half teaspoon oregano
Step 1 - Wash the chicken legs. With the help of a knife, make deep gashes all over the chicken flesh of the drumsticks so that it can absorb the spices quickly.
Step 2 - Mix the drumsticks with paste of 1 onion (grated or ground). Add salt, black pepper, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, 2 teaspoons oil, and mix well.
Step 3 - Roast the chicken along with the spice mixture for around 15 minutes till all the sides are well roasted. Let them cool down for few minutes.
Step 4 - Whisk 1 egg, add salt, red chilli powder and oregano to it. Dip the roasted chicken legs in the egg mixture and immediately coat them with bread crumbs.
Step 5 - Shake off excess bread crumbs and deep fry the chicken legs till they turn golden brown. Remember, to fry on medium flame so that you get enough time to cook the insides of the chicken properly.
This quick and easy fried chicken is perfect snack to make in the evening when you are all tuckered out, either working or lazing around, and only good food like this can get you back in good mood.
