Potato Chips Recipe: Grabbing a pack of chips seems like the easiest and the best thing to do to kill in-between-the-meals hunger. And, when we know that kids love potato chips you get everywhere in the market, you give in to the lure of fixing them no-fuss snacks. But you must know that these potato chips contain a lot more than just potatoes - preservatives, high oil content, artificial flavouring agents and what not? It's better to avoid these chips packs. Since, it is not that easy to avoid these chips every day during this lockdown period, take this opportunity to make some yourself at home, just like Shilpa Shetty Kundra did.
Shilpa Shetty shared a quick and easy recipe of homemade chips made with potatoes and sweet potatoes on her Instagram account -

Sweet potatoes are a rich source of carotenoids that help reduce inflammation. Sweet potatoes are also highly rich in antioxidants that may build our immunity and help us deal with cold and throat problems.
Potatoes also carry significant anti-inflammatory properties, besides being a rich source of energy coming through carbohydrates. Potatoes are also said to be good for digestion.
To prepare these chips, cut slices of sweet potatoes and potatoes. Coat them with a mix of paprika powder, pepper, salt, and just 1 teaspoon of oil. Grease baking tray with some oil and place all the potato slices separately on the tray. Put them in a preheated oven and bake them for one hour. You'll get crispy and crunchy potato chips just like store-bought ones, these one being only healthier and tastier!
Shilpa Shetty also added, "You can make these healthy and yummy Potato-&-Sweet-Potato chips at home and store them in an airtight container for all those snack cravings. It's devoid of any harmful ingredients that can be dangerous for your child. Also, these are baked chips! Nothing to worry about even if the kids clean off a little more than they should.
