When it comes to vegetarian snacks, paneer, aloo and mushrooms are the top picks. Although, there are many ways you can turn paneer and aloo into delectable snacks, mushroom is left with very few options - tandoori mushroom is one of them. The smokiness of tandoor filled in soft and chewy mushroom is the perfect appetiser to serve to family and friends. But, this tandoori mushroom with loads of creaminess is something you might have not even heard of. This rarely-seen tandoori gucchi is a must-try snack. You will love its tenderness and great taste.
The tandoori snack made with Kashmiri Gucchi (mushroom) brims with all things creamy and cheesy - something all kids love. Almost all the ingredients you can think of to make creamy curries and dishes, are used here all together. Just image how heavenly it would - all your favourite foods in one dish!
You have to stuff gucchi mushroom with cous cous, khoya, cheddar cheese, pomegranate seeds, and spices. Then marinate it with cashew paste, cream, yogurt and coconut paste. Yes, this recipe leaves nothing that can be used to infuse lusciousness to tandoori mushrooms. Spices like kasoori methi, brown onion paste, black pepper, cumin powder, coriander leaves, and ginger garlic paste just enhance the flavours, and tandoor imparts an attractive glaze and smoky flavour to it
