Be it a movie outing or dinner date, there is this one staple dish that we all end up ordering from the menu - Masala French Fries. Fries are like the perfect accompaniment to any dish; be it pastas, chowmein, burgers or pizzas. When it comes to fries, there is no dearth of options out there. From cheese fries to keema fries, cafes and restaurants these days have started to experiment with fusion varieties. However, there is one thing that remains constant in almost all restaurants - masala fries. The fries that we get in restaurants are quite different from the ones that we make at home; all thanks to the super-delicious spice-mix that is generously sprinkled upon fries that are crisp to perfection. The spice-mix has a distinct taste with the perfect spice and tang, which is quite irresistible. What complement this spice-mix are the dips that are served along the fries. If you wish to savour the same flavours in the comforts of your kitchen, then you can do so by making the seasoning or masala at home.
The seasoning can be easily prepared at home and it won't take much of your time and effort. All you need is four ingredients and the wonder masala will be ready in no time. Just sprinkle it the way you like and enjoy restaurant-style masala French fries at home.
Here Is How You Can Make Restaurant-Style Fries Seasoning At Home:
Ingredients
4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon paprika or chilli powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala
Method:
To begin with, take a bowl and add in salt and chilli powder. Mix the two spices well.
Then, add in garlic powder and chaat masala in the same bowl. Give all the spices a nice stir and it's ready.
Note: This spice-mix can be stored in an air-tight jar and it'll stay fresh for good two weeks. You may use it as and when you like. However, make sure that there is no moisture left in the jar as even a little bit of moisture is enough to spoil the entire mix.
Now, that we have shared with you an easy and delicious recipe of spice-mix that can be sprinkled on fries, treat your kids with this delight and get ready to be showered with complements. Happy Cooking.
