A bowl of chicken curry defines comfort for almost every non-vegetarian across India. We love pairing our meals with a bowl of spicy chicken curry. Don't we? The fact that chicken is versatile to the core, also ensures that we never get bored of it. It helps you whip up the healthiest (soup/salad) to the greasiest (butter chicken/fried chicken) of the dishes one can think of. It has a soft yet fibrous texture that makes chicken an easy ingredient to handle and helps you get creative with the recipes. If you explore Indian cuisine extensively, you will find every region has at least one unique chicken recipe that has stood the test of time.
In Punjabi cuisine, one such dish is butter chicken. Soft and juicy chicken chunks, dunked in creamy, butter-laden gravy, butter chicken spells indulgence. In fact, it is one of the most ordered dishes in almost every Indian restaurant across the globe. But if you thought Punjabi cuisine has only butter chicken to offer, we fear, you might be wrong here! Another chicken recipe that makes a popular choice among the Punjabi food lovers is Punjabi chicken masala. Made with rich and spicy tomato-onion gravy, Punjabi chicken masala can fire up your appetite in no time.
