What do you love the most about winter? If you ask us, it has to be the bright and vibrant winter greens. This season sees an abundance of green leafy vegetables lining up the markets and our kitchen. Besides, mustard and spinach, fresh and aromatic fenugreek (or methi) leaves are our absolute favourite. Methi adds its herby and pungent flavours and makes any dish taste better. Not to mention the wealth of health benefits it offers. Correct us if we are wrong, the most common dish that is made with methi in Indian households is the simple and humble aloo methi sabzi. Just to use the same combination, but with a twist, we are sharing the recipe of aloo methi paratha with you.

Be it summer or winter, paratha is always a winner on our breakfast table. While aloo parathas will always top our list of favourite parathas, we decided to give this recipe a twist with the addition of methi. And we loved it. The recipe of aloo methi paratha was shared by food vlogger Reshu on her YouTube channel 'Cooking With Reshu'. The recipe adds besan along with atta to make the paratha crispier.
Aloo Methi Paratha Recipe I How To Make Aloo Methi Paratha:
Mix besan and atta. Add some methi leaves and grated boiled potatoes. Season with salt, green chillies. Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, crushed ajwain and hing. Also add 1 tsp of ghee. You can add curd or malai in place of ghee. Knead the dough and make parathas with it.
