Now, with so much to explore, no one would really want to stick to plain and boring platters. In fact, with the increasing popularity of intriguing combinations, it seems humans have evolved to make and relish meals in different lip-smacking forms.
Recently, a video has surfaced on the Internet that perfectly embodies this sentiment. Shared on Instagram, the clip is from the 1941 Hollywood film 'The Great Lie'. It shows actress Mary Astor, who played Sandra in the film, expressing her love for food in the most relatable way.
“I'm not one of you anemic creatures who can get nourishment from a lettuce leaf,” Sandra is heard saying. She asserts, “I have zest and appetite and I like food”. “I have been lying awake in there thinking about food and now I'm gonna have it,” Sandra adds while sobbing. Take a look:

The clip has amassed more than 2 million views on the platform and prompted users to react in the comment section.
“Me at 3 am thinking about the leftover pizza,” a user wrote. Another said, “This is the most accurate thing I've ever seen”. One person joked, “The plight of the post-Christmas dieters…”.
One suggested that we all love food regardless of our age. “Foods can make even grownups behave like children,” a comment read. “Me and you after a week of dieting haha,” a user said.
