The incident took place in the Jagtial district of Telangana where a youngster named Beeram Rajesh approached a grievance redressal programme called Prajavani with his unusual complaint. He said that liquor shops in his area were selling cheap quality beer which could harm the health of drinkers. Rajesh added that there was a shortage of Kingfisher beer in his district, reported Telangana Today.
In his complaint, Rajesh stressed that the temperature has started to rise and people would want some beer to relax. He said wine shops must sell beer of all kinds but were only keeping locally made beer on the shelf which is sub-standard and harms health. The youngster urged the district collector to pay heed to the issue and solve it, according to News18.
