Priyanka Chopra spent her Saturday watching a live Wimbledon match along with gal-pal Natasha Poonawalla. The match was quite an intense one between Ashleigh Barty and Karolina Pliskova. While Priyanka Chopra shared several pictures and videos of the thrilling match, giving us snippets of the experience, what interested our eyes the most was the delicious high tea she had. Priyanka shared the picture on her Instagram Stories along with the caption, “When at Wimbledon.” The feast included some delicious finger food like tomato and cheese sandwiches, decadent-looking cakes, and muffins and scones. Here is a fun food fact: Strawberries and cream are a huge deal at Wimbledon. Serving the sweet snack at the tournament has been a long-loved tradition. Historically, it is believed that this tradition was started by one Thomas Wolsey, an adviser at King Henry VIII's court. Since the first tournament in 1877, strawberries and cream have been served.
Priyanka Chopra has been on a delicious food trip lately. The actress is currently in London. A few days ago, she left us quite hungry when she shared a picture of her delicious meal cooked for her by a friend and American songwriter, Cavanaugh James.
