The internet offers us a wide range of content, each with its unique essence. Some content is informative, while others are purely for entertainment. And then, we stumble upon content that adds a dose of positivity to our daily lives. Recently, we came across such good news that was all about humanity and relationships. It's a heartwarming story about a doctor and his patient, and we'd love to share it with you. The story begins with a post shared by Dr. P Kamath on his Twitter handle. Dr. Kamath is the head of the cardiology department at KMC Hospital in Mangalore. In the post, he talks about one of his patients who gifted him a box of dry fruits during Ugadi (Telegu New Year).
According to the post, Dr. Kamath had been treating this patient for almost a decade. However, despite this long association, he had never taken any consultation fees from her, considering her low salary. It was the woman's last day at the bank where she worked as a helper when she presented the box of dry fruits as a token of gratitude for all the doctor's help.

She has been my patient for more than a decade and works as a helper in a bank. Knowing fully well her salary, I had never charged her for any consultations. She presented me with this jar of dry fruits and conveyed her Ugadi wishes, saying that she had not come as a patient. Today is her last day at the bank, and she is grateful for all my help."
