1.Cheese Onion Bhajiya
Onions, Chickpea flour or besan, along with cheese and an array of basic spices is enough to prepare this lip-smacking version of the regular bhajiya. A hot cup of tea and a platter of cheese and onion bhajiya to savour, what else do you need?
2.Bhajiya Pav
To make the evening snack a bit heavier, stuff the fried bhajiyas in a pav. Throw in some sweet tamarind chutney and also a spicy chutney to trigger the taste buds.
3.Methi Moongdal Bhajiya
We agree that bhajiyas are not among the healthiest snack. But we have a solution for all the health enthusiasts as well so that they can enjoy the monsoon snack without any guilt. You ask how? By giving it a healthy twist with Methi, or fenugreek leaves.
4.Hari Mirch Ke Pakode
These golden crispy delights are quite popular in Indian households. Prepare the batter on one hand, and the filling on the other. Take some chillies, stuff them with the filling, dip them in the batter and fry until they are golden brown.
5.Paneer Pakora
Fry some finely cut cubes of paneer coated with a spicy batter and voila you have an all-time favourite snack. Munch on these while sipping a cup of hot tea/coffee, and enjoy the rain. You can replace the cottage cheese with tofu as well.
