When it comes to cooking, we tend to take certain things for granted. Whether it's electrical appliances such as blenders, or even a simple gas stove - these are equipment essential to every kitchen. Can you imagine if you had to spend a day in the outdoors and cook your food without any access to electricity or appliances at your disposal? This is exactly the concept that catapulted an Instagram blogger duo to instant fame. The two men from Poland run an account called 'Men With The Pot'. What started out as a passion project has now blown up into an extremely popular Instagram handle with over 1.1 million followers, which they have amassed over a short period of time.

The account is the brainchild of Slawek Kalkraut and Krzysztof Szymanski, two Polish friends based out of Ireland. As per their official website, they bonded over a mutual love for creating delicious meals with minimal resources amidst the backdrop of nature. "MenWithThePot started as an Instagram page where we shared our outdoor creations with friends and family but quickly snowballed into a passion project that people all over the world began to connect with," they wrote.
A quick scroll through their 700-odd posts will reveal how they cook 'au naturel' and completely outdoors. They camp through the forests of Ireland, using just wood fires and hot stones to provide the necessary heat for cooking. The special knives and boards they use for their recipes are practically the only equipment they use in their viral outdoor cooking videos. They also use natural elements and temperatures to their advantage.
If you thought that this Instagram blogger duo would be making simple recipes only, you couldn't be farther from the truth. From Pasta to Empanadas, Tortillas to Bagels and even garlic bread - you can find all of this and more on their page. They have even tried recreating dishes from fast-food chains such as Pizza Hut and McDonald's in the forest. Their cooking skills could surely give chefs a run for their money!

The reasons that their videos are going viral are manifold. The idea of surviving in the wild indeed gives their clips a unique appeal. Fans and followers believe that they can cook practically anything and everything in the forest, thus managing to achieve what seems to be impossible.
People comment on their videos by the thousands, calling their videos 'relaxing' and 'addictive'. Several also post inquiries about their processes and techniques."We need a cookbook from your page please," wrote one user while another said, "What kind of knives are those?" Someone also said, "The way I am attracted to this channel is almost disturbing!" Another requested, "Can you guys take me camping, I promise I'll be quiet!"
