Ingredients of Apple Fritters

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 750 ml milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 apples
  • 8 cups canola oil for deep-frying
  • granulated sugar

How to Make Apple Fritters

  • 1.Blend the flour, milk and salt to make a smooth batter.
  • 2.Peel, core and slice the apples into 1/4 inch (1 mm) thick slices.
  • 3.Dip the apple slices into the batter and deep-fry them at 375 °F (190 °C) for 2 to 3 minutes until lightly browned on both sides.
  • 4.Sprinkle with sugar whilst hot and serve immediately.
