A simple and uncomplicated dessert. Biscuits, strawberry puree and cream layered together to make this delightful gateau.

Ingredients of Biscuit Gateau

  • 100 gm arrowroot biscuits (any biscuits/cookies of your choice)
  • 2.5 cups cream, chilled-whip with sugar and essence
  • 2 Tbsp sugar-powdered
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup strawberries - cut up
  • 1/4 cup sugar - pureed with strawberries
  • 1/4 cup walnuts - chopped fine
  • A serving dish about 8 inch round

How to Make Biscuit Gateau

  • 1.Arrange biscuits in a layer, and spread half of the strawberry puree over it.
  • 2.Sprinkle some nuts over this and half the cream.
  • 3.Spread another layer of the biscuits and repeat the rest.
  • 4.Decorate on top, chill for 4-5 hours and serve.
