Ceviche is a popular seafood dish mostly eaten in Central and South America. A simple dish where fish is marinated in lime juice or any other citrus flavours and served raw with jalapeno peppers.
Ingredients of Ceviche
1 kg fish fillet - small pieces
2 cups lemon juice
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1 kg tomato - diced
1 cup onions - chopped
3 Tbsp coriander - chopped
3 Tbsp ketchup
2 tsp tobasco sauce
Salt
Black pepper
1/2 cup jalapeno peppers - chopped
1 cup olives - chopped
How to Make Ceviche
1.Marinate the fish in lemon juice and leave for about 3 hours.
2.Heat olive oil in a pan and saute garlic till golden brown. Keep aside.
3.Take a bowl and mix all the other ingredients with the fish.
4.Season with salt and pepper.
5.Remove the garlic from olive oil and add it to the fish. Mix well.
