Ceviche is a popular seafood dish mostly eaten in Central and South America. A simple dish where fish is marinated in lime juice or any other citrus flavours and served raw with jalapeno peppers.

Ingredients of Ceviche

  • 1 kg fish fillet - small pieces
  • 2 cups lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 kg tomato - diced
  • 1 cup onions - chopped
  • 3 Tbsp coriander - chopped
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp tobasco sauce
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers - chopped
  • 1 cup olives - chopped

How to Make Ceviche

  • 1.Marinate the fish in lemon juice and leave for about 3 hours.
  • 2.Heat olive oil in a pan and saute garlic till golden brown. Keep aside.
  • 3.Take a bowl and mix all the other ingredients with the fish.
  • 4.Season with salt and pepper.
  • 5.Remove the garlic from olive oil and add it to the fish. Mix well.
  • 6.Garnish with olives and serve.
