Ceviche is a popular seafood dish mostly eaten in Central and South America. A simple dish where fish is marinated in lime juice or any other citrus flavours and served raw with jalapeno peppers.

Ingredients of Ceviche

  • 1 kg fish fillet - small pieces
  • 2 cups lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 kg tomato - diced
  • 1 cup onions - chopped
  • 3 Tbsp coriander - chopped
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp tobasco sauce
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers - chopped
  • 1 cup olives - chopped

How to Make Ceviche

Marinate the fish in lemon juice and leave for about 3 hours.

Heat olive oil in a pan and saute garlic till golden brown. Keep aside.
3.
Take a bowl and mix all the other ingredients with the fish.
4.
Season with salt and pepper.
5.
Remove the garlic from olive oil and add it to the fish. Mix well.
6.
Garnish with olives and serve.
