About Chicken Tangdi Recipe: A perfect starter to any dinner party, these chicken drumsticks are soft and succulent coated with a host of spices. This chicken tangri kebab recipe has chicken legs marinated in a flavorsome paste and then grilled on the tandoor to give out chicken wings that are penetrated deep with masala and garnished with fresh lime over the top.

Ingredients of Chicken Tangdi

  • 6 Chicken legs
  • 1 Lime (to garnish)
  • For Masala Paste:
  • 2 1/2 tsp Garlic-ginger paste
  • 1 Green chilli, finely chopped
  • Few Fresh coriander leaves
  • Few Basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 tbsp Olive oil

How to Make Chicken Tangdi

Prepare Masala Paste:

To make the masala paste combine all the ingredients together and grind them.

Prepare Drumsticks:

Make gashes into the chicken legs. It helps the masala to seep in while getting cooked.

Add the masala paste to the chicken legs. Rub it nicely with your hands.
3.
Keep it in the fridge for 3-4 hours to marinate.
4.
Now skewer the marinated chicken drumsticks and place it on a tandoor.
5.
Cook till the kebabs are char grilled on the outside and succulent on the inside.
6.
Take them off the skewer and garnish them with a lime. Serve hot.
