Ingredients of Chickpea Burger
- 2 Cups Soaked chickpea/chole
- 1/2 cup Chopped onions
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 2 Chilies (chopped))
- 5-6 cloves Garlic (chopped)
- Medium-sized Ginger (chopped)
- Chopped coriander
- as required Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- Salt as required

Soak the chickpea overnight, next morning add-in a grinder along with ginger, garlic, chili, salt, and pepper, and make a smooth paste.
Remove the paste to a bowl, add chopped onions, half of the bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and mix well. If you feel the paste is too watery, you may add a spoonful Maida to it.
Shape into a burger patty and coat with remaining breadcrumbs and grill or pan fry with minimum oil.
In the same pan slightly roast the buns. Spread the sauce of your choice and spread on the buns, you may add sliced onions, tomatoes and lettuce for the extra crunch.
Place the patty in between the bun and enjoy a mouthful of this delicious vegetarian burger.
