Rich, creamy and elegant. This soup combines the beautiful flavours of onion, pepper and parsley with pearl white crab meat.

Ingredients of Crab Soup

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped onions
  • 2 Tbsp chicken base or bouillon granules
  • 1/8 Tbsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 pound crabmeat

How to Make Crab Soup

  • 1.Melt butter and whisk in flour.
  • 2.Cook for 3 minutes then stir in milk, chopped onion, chicken base, pepper, and chopped parsley.
  • 3.Reduce the heat and cook until thick.
  • 4.Stir in crab meat, heat and serve.
