Ingredients of Dalitoye

  • 1 Cup Toor dal
  • 3 nos Green chillies
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 3-4 Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Hing
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander

How to Make Dalitoye

Pressure cook toor dal, green chillies, salt and add oil.

Switch off the flame after two whistes or until dal is soft.
3.
Blend the dal in the blender or use your hands to mash it.
4.
Heat coconut oil in separate pan and add mustard seeds, hind, red chilli, and curry leaves. Now, pour the dal mixture into the pan
5.
Serve it hot with steamed rice.
