You must have eaten chicken and mutton korma many times, but if you are in the mood to try something new, then here we have brought a wonderful Fish Korma recipe for you. Fish korma can be paired with steamed rice.

Ingredients of Fish Korma

  • 1 Kg Fish (any fish of your choice)
  • 2 large Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Onion puree
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chillies Paste
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 4 tbsp Oil/Ghee
  • 250 gram Curd
  • 4 Cloves
  • 4 Green Cardamom
  • 5-6 Black Peppercorn
  • 1 Black Cardamom
  • 1 Stick Cinnamon

How to Make Fish Korma

First of all, sprinkle lemon juice, some turmeric, salt and red chilli in the fish, mix it well and keep it aside.

Now heat mustard oil in a big kadhai, fry chopped onion and spread it on a plate and keep it aside.

Add all the whole spices to this oil and fry for 2 seconds, after that add onion puree and fry, add ginger garlic and green chili paste in it.

Add curd and mix well, now add red chilli, coriander powder, turmeric and salt as per taste and fry for some time.

Cook it by adding water. On the other hand, heat some oil in a pan and fry the pieces of fish lightly.

Cook the pieces of fish in the gravy for some time. Mash the fried onions by hand and mix them in the gravy.
7.
Lastly sprinkle garam masala and cook for two minutes and take it out in a serving bowl and serve.
