Ingredients of Gajar Ka Halwa (Sugar-Free)

  • 8-10 carrots (medium), grated
  • 3 tbsp pure ghee
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 10-15 Sultanas
  • 1/3 cup sugar substitute (optional)
  • 1/4 cup khoya, grated
  • 10-12 pistachios (blanched and peeled), sliced

How to Make Gajar Ka Halwa (Sugar-Free)

  • 1.Heat the pure ghee in a non-stick kadai. Add the grated carrots and sauté for about five minutes.
  • 2.Add the skimmed milk and cook.
  • 3.Add the green cardamom powder, sultanas, sugar substitute (if using) and mix. Cook for about ten to fifteen minutes.
  • 4.Add the khoya and mix. Cook till the mixture is almost dry. Garnish with pistachios.
  • 5.Serve hot or cold.
