About Gujarati Kadhi Recipe: A light and lovely curry made with soothing ingredients like yogurt, gram flour, curry leaves and ginger.
Ingredients of Gujarati Kadhi
- 2 1/2 Cup Curd
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Gram flour
- A pinch of Asafoetida
- A pinch of Jaggery
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 1/2 Cups Water
- 1 Tbsp Clarified butter
- 1/4 cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 3 Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Ginger, chopped
- Curry leaves
- 1 Whole red chilly
- 3 Green chillies, chopped
How to Make Gujarati Kadhi
- 1.Take a bowl and mix the curd, gram four, asafoetida, jaggery, salt and water. Mix it well using a whisk.

- 2.Heat a pan and pour in the mixture. Keep stirring till the curry thins out.

- 3.As the curry thins out, add the seasoning and boil the curry for 5-6 minutes.

- 4.Serve hot in a bowl.

- 1.Heat clarified butter and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cloves, ginger, green chillies and the red chilly.
